Walter Cronkite was one of the great prolocutors of 20th Century American Society. I can still remember watching his televised reports on the Viet Nam war when I was a child. His career as a News broadcaster approached something of a saga.

I do not support nor do I condem Walter Cronkite. My objective statements are about a known and accomplished American.
