Thanks for posting that article! I spent 9 months working as a LMT squad leader with MNARNG, 07-08 time frame. It was a great experience all around and the article does a pretty good job of describing a couple of the issues and situations we'd run into on a regular basis. Working with the local population everyday and helping solve problems in a up an coming country like Kosovo was easily the most educational experience I've had thus far.

I spent a lot of time in Gjilane, Zhegra and the villages in that area and even worked with one of the interpreters mentioned.
