My son was sworn in today as a PFC in the CONG.

He enlisted 13F. Odd, it took me 6-8 months to make PFC.

He’ll drill with the 169th FA BN until his ship date in October.

AND…he’s met his first poser! His MEPS roommate at the hotel last night said he was a former Navy SEAL trainee who was removed from training due to his eyesight. I guess the Navy forgot the check his eyes earlier and then just shook his hand, thanked him for trying, and turned him loose on the streets of San Diego.

So now he’s joining the Army Reserve to go SF.
