Protocol varies from place to place but:

- doesn't bode well for his staff if the POTUS wasn't briefed on what to expect

- doesn't look good for the POTUS if he was briefed and ignored their advice

- doesn't look good for the US if our President was purposefully snubbed

Any way one looks at the video, it doesn't look too good from a point of good manners and respect towards a visiting Head of State by the hosts.

Makes me wonder what gifts were exchanged?
