Roh spent his entire Presidency supporting/appeasing the North Korean government. The South Korean military hated him more than the North Koreans.
Suicide is the fourth leading cause of death in Korea. It looks to me that Roh killed himself because of the "ak ples." I thought the article below was a joke when I first saw it a year ago, but it is totally serious.

It is illegal to be a comment/forum troll in Korea. In order to use any forum or post comments to a Korean website you must use their equivalent of an SSN when you register, thus giving up any anonymity. Talking trash about people on the internet is a huge societal issue there and a rash of suicides because of "ak ples" led to their current internet laws.
You can't make this stuff up...
