Sorry if I'm rehashing old news. I searched on "global cooling".

I did see another article (and posted it in an existing thread that was talking about Antarctic ice) that stated that even though the large ice shelf in Antarctica was breaking off, on the OTHER side there are increases... preliminary conclusion was that there was an overall net GAIN in total ice mass over the 30yr study.

I can't remember where I put it.
