During the first part of the Vietnam Evacuation, I had the chance to walk through an airfield in Guam. There were an untold number of air assets parked in the field and one got the impression they were flown directly from Vietnam. In the corner of the field were a group of Hueys painted silver with no other formal distinct indications other then most of them had a fair amount of bullet holes.
I'm glad these folks are getting the recognition they deserve. Now maybe the folks who served in El Salvador can also be recognized.
