I think it was brilliant! However, in the good ole US of A, all I can see is LEOs being disciplined and fired, lawsuits, and a "poor," injured, "alleged" bank robber/terrorist on various and sundry TV shows - appropriately bruised and bandaged - telling his tale of abuse at the hands of the "out-of-control" police.

As a former teaching colleague used to say about the state of affairs in the good ole US of A (back in the late 70's and early 80's, no less) - "It's a sick society."
