When did you get out? Were you in the "old" div area in the barracks behind the parade field adjacent to the 505 PIR,near by the theater? Got a whole bunch of questions for you,so I'll just send you a PM. It's great that your coming on board. This is a really great forum and I too am SFA for 31 years now, but this beats the hell out of the SFA's...... Hell,I'm 72,and one of the old farts here, but they put up with me when I screw up on a posting so don't concern yourself if you do. I was only 18 when I went over to the 77th in April of '56....... I believe that SF is a 'calling' - not too different from the calling missionaries I know received. I knew instantly that it was for me, and that I would do all I could to achieve it. Most others I know in SF experienced something similar. If, as you say, you HAVE searched and read, and you do not KNOW if this is the path for you --- it is not....
