The less-than-honorable Senator Feinstein has just thrown her political hat into the running for Governor of the $42B in the red State of California. So has Jerry Brown, the former Linda Ronstadt consort (while being paid as Governor) and Mayor of Oakland. Gavin Newsome, San Francisco's current Mayor, is also considering a run for Governor. Hang on to your hats out there on the left coast - the show is only beginning. 
Or maybe it's just a ploy by the current administration to take everyone's attention away from the chicanery of the current crop of Polecatus Washingtonum holding office.
