Me, too. IIRC, he was putting together the POI and doing some testing of it prior to full implementation circa 5/83 when I left the 7th to attend IOAC 6-12/83. Prior to that we ran wholly 'in-house' training ad hoc or sent guys through various sister service (e.g., USAF) schools or the like (e.g., we did one in the RPI conducted by a Negrito who had been a guerrilla fighting the Japanese in WW2).
