Pakistani officials have vigorously protested American missile strikes in the tribal areas as a violation of sovereignty and have resisted efforts by Washington to put more troops on Pakistani soil. President Asif Ali Zardari, who leads a weak civilian government, is trying to cope with soaring anti-Americanism among Pakistanis and a belief that he is too close to Washington.
!
This almost sounds like a CIA trick used in the past.. Publicly expose the current politicians as weak & two-faced,, so he/they get replaced by some-one more amiable to the US??

Zardari is not a power broker. By replacing him with someone more hard-line,, in either direction.. We get the ball rolling..

In fact,, would it benefit if he was replaced by hard-lines,, that India might want to attack?? Creating action on the Eastern front may take some pressure off the Western activities??
