introduction
hello, found this site last month, I'm impressed. Joined SF in Dec 1963 and served with some groups that were deactivated, 13th, 8th and 11th. Some old SF friends got me involved with SFA some years back, and we formed chapter 85 which has members from Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. to Ft. Pierce,Fl. Our next chapter meeting is April 18th at the Dockside Inn in Ft. Pierce-----some members come down from Ga, Sc etc on the 16th and 17th of April to hang out with others and SEAL Team Zero at Little Jim Bridge or Dockside Harborlights. If you are in the area stop by for a beer or the Sat meeting.
Would like to "talk" to any members of the old 322 SF Detachment that originally made up the 13th group when it was activated in 1961.
Posted a raffle in Base Camp for an M1919A4/A6 .30 cal air cooled, belt fed, machine gun (made semi auto) for our wounded SF project.
