On to the subject of my health. It's what caused my waiver to be kicked back.

Now I find myself preparing for a lap nissen to correct a hiatal hernia, in hopes of reversing the massive esophageal erosion that has occurred over the past 4 yrs. I go under the knife (and other misc. torture devices ) on the 20th of Feb. Then 2-3 wks conv. leave, then another 6 to 8 wks of profile, etc.

Thank goodness I've been training with cross-fit. I won't lose too much...I hope.

Anyhow, as I've been gone from the site for so long, and so many other issues have arisen (life does go on) I wish to say, again, a huge thank you to everyone here for the support and well wishes, as well as advice in my previous prep. for the SFAS/QC. I couldn't think of a better community in which to take part. You guys rock!

Mick, I hope your surgery goes well and you recovery quickly. Good luck with PA school! Be strong!
