Hello,
My name is Shawn. I have been a background member to this site for about a year learning from the welth of knoledge that is available here. I finally decided that it was time to step up my efforts and move into the next step by asking questions of my own. I'm currently an 11C20 in the Wisconsin Army National Guard in the process of deploying for the second time. I'm also facilitating my entry into our states new RSTA BN; specifically its LRS company to advance my knowledge, responsibility, and carrer. I enlisted in early 2005 in order to allow myself time to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. After a few years in and a lot of learning I've decided that the military suites mw well. I plan on finishing out my current enlistment contract in the guard, complete my civilian education to attain my commision, and then transition to the AC. My carrer goals are a minimum of O-6 with a short tab and top off as a detachment commander in the group community. The path to get there involves a lot of work, family sacrifices and considerations, and above all determination. I look forward to participating in discussionsand learning from all of you here.
