The funny part about all this is that Lebanon, VA is about 20 minutes down the road from me, and is not considered a big political pond by any stretch of the imagination. He could have gone another 30 minutes up the road to Bristol and spoken to a much larger crowd (that would have included the people from Lebanon I'm sure). It mystifies me as to why he would come to Lebanon to talk in the first place. And then to say the "ultimate soundbite" for the opposition (whether it was what he meant or not) just shows his inexperience in this entire process.
Absent Sarah Palin being found out to be an Iraqi transvestite who drowns puppies for fun, this election is as good as won.
