Girls & Guns

I started my children young also. My daughter is now 28 and son is 24. Started both with a BB rifle at five or so. Moved on to .22 pistol and rifle a few years later. Both were shooting my 1911 and highpowered rifles by the time they were 12 or 13.
When my daughter started dating many dates were on the range or deer hunting. Never had any problems with the local boys. I always told them that I didn't worry about my daughter because if they got out of the way, my daughter would shoot their eyes out.
My daughter started dating a city boy in college. The first time I saw him I was cleaning several pistols in hope to shoot some with my daughter and her new friend. He stood in my home and told me he had never even held a gun. He told me that there would never be a gun in his home!
Before I new it he and I stood nose to nose. I told him my daughter would never date a fag like him and I would stomp a mud hole in his a**.
Well guess what, she married him.
They now have me two wonderful grandchildren. They also have several guns in the house. It took me a few years to get him on the range but he is pretty darn good now.
My son has always been a fine shot and shoots regularly with me.
Start them young and teach them right.
