The ‘Bozos’ fail to see that if the bombs had not been dropped, Japan would have been raised. The population would have been decimated; its cities, industry, agriculture… everything. With the winter of 45/46, the people would have been dying from the cold, starvation and disease.
On March 9th & 10th of 1945, we bombed Tokyo with incendiaries, more than 100,000 died. Now if we extend this technique to the rest of the island… I think you could argue that the use of the bomb was both just and compassionate.
