Hello everyone. My name is Nicholas Gomez. I'm 31 and am from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I am not in, and never was in the military but have always had a strong interest in military equipment, knives, firearms, etc. In high school I was a Police Cadet (most schools here have either Police, Army or Navy Cadet platoons - my school, Aminuddin Baki had Police). I joined because the uniforms & shoes were free. For Red Crescent/Boy Scouts you had to buy everything. After concentrating on automobiles/motorcycles for the past 10 years or so, the recent events around the world and the purchase of three military/survival knives and movies like Black Hawk Down have rekindled my interest in militaria. I hope to learn a lot about what's going on around the world through this forum, which looks like it is one of the better ones on the net. My sincere apologies if I go against protocol or make mistakes.
