When we talked at length the last time (two Sundays ago on the phone - she is in DC), she brought up what has been mentioned here, that he is Carter reincarnate. She cannot believe he gets away with being an "empty shirt". I feel there are a lot of women who won't publicly antagonize their liberal cohorts, but when it comes time to "pull the lever" - they will remember.
