I think this is a very fair characterization from a liberal-minded individual. I've seen it myself from a few friends who were behind Hillary. HOWEVER, to a person - they are all forming a line behind Obama now despite their reservations. That, I find rather alarming. I really thought that McCain would have been able to pick up some of these votes because he's seen as so independent, but so far I haven't seen it.
