I believe that in the future, one will hear this detachment (DET-K) referred to as "40th SFD(A)".

This I think, is due to the accomplishments of EUSA's 8240th Army Unit, and the association of the 39th Special Forces Detachment 'A'FD(A) with the Berlin (1956-1958).
