I doubt the that witch was ever in any danger. My guess would be everyone was running with their head down so no one saw them with her.

I was on the State Department detail guarding the American Ambassador to Kuwait during Desert Storm. We were headed to see the Crown Prince, we arrive, everything normal, we get the Ambassador into the Crown Princes residence and a minute later "Bang Bang Bang" a quick three round burst only a few hundred feet away, it was a Kuwaiti accidental discharge, cept it was an M-60MG...
