Meanwhile, Obama and Clinton raised like 9x what McCain raised last cycle. IIRC, he raised like $11M, Clinton raised $35M and Obama raised $55M. Sure, he appeals to the middle, but the Republican base can't stand him.
I normally write checks for presidential candidates, the RNC, etc., but I have not done so to this point and may not at all. And I'm a libertarian, not a traditional conservative.
You can't win if you don't have the financial ammo to get your message out.
