The only thing worse than a treadmill losing power is a elliptical machine losing power. During the fires my cross country team and I had to work out indoors because of the smoke. Most of the gyms were closed but we did find a small club that we could work out at. There was no-one there but everything was unlocked so we started our workouts. All the treadmills were being used so I hopped on the elliptical machine and cranked the resistance way up. *POP* The TV goes dark, everyone on the treadmills stumble and the elliptical machine goes crazy. It went from heavy resistance to nothing and my foot slipped off the platform. This resulted in me falling off the other platform and getting pummeled by the still moving ski-things. Needless to say, everyone had a good laugh and when I finally untangled myself from the machine I joined in as well.
