From what I gather Stag is owned by the son of the gentleman that owns CMT. CMT makes the receivers and parts for a bunch of other big name AR manufacturers, most namely Rock River.
I might have gotten lucky because the fit between the Stag receiver and the LMT upper is just about perfect. No problems going together and no play once it is. Now that the gun is complete I am going to have to get some quality training done, and a second mortgage for ammo.
