As you point out, the MSM has said very little about this. Just like in the U.S., political correctness prevents discussion of growing problems.
Both Europe and the U.S. face an interesting question. What will happen when (or, if you prefer, if) a recession occurs and the welfare state is unable to continue buying peace?
