Good words especially on this day. I heard a 9/11 commemoration on the radio on the way to the airport. Sound bites from the World Trade Centers both from those who had escaped the building and those that responded. They spoke with a man that carried a wheelchair-bound woman down 68 floors to get out. As I sit here at 06:00, surrounded by a group of about 30 troops on their way home from Iraq, I wonder how the American public could possibly have forgotten what started all this.
I just pray they are not so quick to forget those who have heard the call and responded.
Sadly....that has been the reality of past battles and wars.
I applaud those who continue to uphold that which is right.
