I'm ashamed to say I was once enrolled in classes at USF. I was there back when one of the professors was arrested for conspiracy to commit terrorism back in the beginning of 2002. Of course after the FBI released him he appeared on O'Reilly Factor and Mr. O'Reilly called USF a "hotbed of terrorism". So, the President of the school decided that all the negative publicity was a bad thing for the school and fired him. Well, the student and teacher union banded together and called for the president's resignation because she was "hindering academic freedom and fired him for his beliefs."

Well, about 2 months later this professor was arrested by the FBI for bringing in known members of the Taliban for "lectures" and these "lecturers" weren't returning to Afghanistan...

I'm glad I left that school and joined the Army when I did. The place is full of young naive liberal children and the professors all teach their own agendas...
