The extremist problem in Europe is only likely to get worse because of the declining birth rates. As a result, in order to fill the labor gap, countries like France, Netherlands and the U.K. are having to let scores of N. African and Middle Eastern immigrants into the country. While most of them are honest, hard working people; not all of them are. Additionally, if they live in economically poor conditions, they're more inclined to adopt radical ideals, and less likely to assimilate. The European solution? Provide incentives for making more babies, and keep your immigrant population happy with a thriving job market. Of course, depending on which country we're talking (and they're sources of GDP), this is more easily said than done.
