RIP to your Father's uncle sdiver.
They had a show on 'Sharkweek,' on the Discovery channel, that covered the story in some detail; however, it was really trying to point out the sharks behavior, as well as some survival things crewmembers, did to avoid being bitten or attacked.
1.) Stay in groups (Don't be alone wolf.)
2.) Fight back, fingers in the eye, punch kick the shark.
3.) Most important survival thing, don't drink sea water, all who did, went crazy and died within hours. Some survivors said that that the dead, both the ones who died from wounds and the sea water drinkers, saved many of the crew, as the sharks ate the dead first.
It was an interesting film, on a VERY tragic incident!
