Most of them are better Actors then extras. Most do work hard to get where they are and increase ticket sales. So they deserve the money. The extra who stands around and works less should get paid less.
No matter how good animation gets. Nothing beats a movie packed full of talented Actors like the Departed for example. Besides how else can we see Martin Sheen thrown off a roof
