Thanks! I am thinking ACOG or Nightforce 1-4X24 NXS (like on your Noveske). I had a TA33R-8 (on my carbine in some of the previous pics in this thread), but sold it to finish some of these builds. I will wait awhile to pick up an optic though, because a) I need to practice with my irons, and b) I only have ready access to a 50yd indoor range right now.
I am thinking of joining the club down at MCB Quantico. There's a window open at the moment, since they are required to maintain a set ratio of military to civilian members. The club does not maintain a set schedule for range availability, but at least I would have a shot at getting on the 300yd range. It would be nice to verify my zero at 200m, since my irons are zeroed at 50yd using LTC Santose's IBZ method.
