This may have been a civilian conversion. I am not sure of the cost of the rifle. It is also in 7.62 Nato. I have not checked to see if the barrel is a 30-06 with a sleave to convert it to a 7.62 Nato or it is a 7.62 Nato chambered barrel.

HOLLiS - Are you sure that's not a BM-59? It's been years since I've seen one but your picture doesn't look like any civilian Garand conversion I'm aware of. (If it is a BM-59 your expert needs to "expand" his expertise a bit.
