Hello fellas,
I'm a 24 yr. old recently graduated student w/ degrees in CRJ/ENG (not that any of that matters). I currently work for the IT dept for the govt. The fact is I've been steered to this site by a book that my ex-gf had mistakenly purchased at the book store. While I was waiting for my ex to pick up a book, SGT. Frank Antenori, author of "Roughneck Nine-One" was having a book signing and we exchanged greetings. The cash I had on me went towards my ex's book so I was unable to pick it up that day.
A couple days later, I had asked my ex to go to the store and pick up that book but instead she picked up "Get selected for special forces". After realizing that I now must dump her
. I went ahead and read the book and now I must say I am extremely interested but I still had to dump the girl. I have been sparodically checking out this site as suggested by the book. After realizing that SF soldiers are not all 6-4, 240lbs, 4% body fat and human after all, I realized this is something I see myself doing till they make me retire. The questions I had were immediately answered by the "Get Selected" book as well as this forum.
I want to say thanks to the administrators and the community for having a forum that has a wealth of information regarding the SF community.
