It is not just the maneuver guys; it is a lot of the top leadership in SOF. Many have gotten there with backgrounds as door kickers and see SF more as commandos and door kickers than as folks whose primary focus should be UW/FID. The reason for that is also because that is where their comfort zone lies. It would be very interesting just to sit down with some of these folks and just ask them to define an area complex in a UW setting and see what they come up with. Hell, many hear the word underground and their first thought is a subway.
