I think you mean the interpretation of the facts is skewed. Fact: Earth is getting warmer. The cause of this has not been determined; there are many factors that could possibly contribute. Determining what is the ultimate cause wastes a lot of time and energy - that could be better put towards developing ways for humanity to adapt, grow and change same as Momma Nature is doing with or without our erstwhile assistance. Nothing anyone can do to change the past, however we can change the future.
Humans can learn to mitigate their affect on Momma Nature, but she ultimately is gonna do her own thing, no matter how many scientists spend how much of my tax dollars to figure what's going on. Drive on, adapt, who knows(?) maybe CA will fall off the mainland, Seattle will experience sunshine on a regular basis and hurricanes will cease to exist!
