I am not surprised that they would try it, but it does strike me as curious that two alleged attorneys would not see the peril in claiming charitable donations which did not occur.
Of course, after Whitewater, the Rose Law Firm billing, and Hillary's miraculous profits in livestock trading, perhaps they really do believe that they are above the law.
It does astound me that the biggest proponents of higher taxes, income redistribution, socialism, entitlement programs, and class warfare, like the Klintons and John Edwards (who IIRC established himself as an S Corp to shield his income from taxes so that he could build a palatial estate) seem to be the quickest to make dubiously legal efforts to dodge their current obligations and who are the least willing to pay what they really owe, despite their riches.
