Introduction
Ok My name is Kerry and I am a member of the Community. For those of you who know me I send greetings for those of you who don't I've been around since 79 with a stint in 7th, IRR, 20th, 3rd, 5th, 96th, and currently back in 5th. I spent the obligatory time at the school house and no more. the greater percentage of my Team time has been spent here in 5th Group and I am currently working at finishing my fifth trip into the sandbox. I was delayed getting into Afghanistan until after the initial push because 1st Battalion was last in so I was still on the ground at Campbell when Jeff Davis, Dan Petithory and Cody Prosser ran afoul of the Air Force so I had to stay there until after we buried them. Once that was done we caught a flight over to UZ and waited to be utilized. The first person to greet me on the ground was Bill Benett who as you know was lost during OIF II. He told me the fighting is over and you got here to late. Well as it turns out he was a little premature and the rest is history. I am about due to rotate home after my fourth trip to Iraq not to include PDSS's so I currently have 38 months downrange since this thing started. I'm hoping to get a little downtime after this trip and then go to JPAC for a couple of years. Just waiting to see if my 4187 clears all the required hurdles. I've been reading up on some of the posts for the last several months and as I see something that I think I can be of assistance on, or something that manages to get under my skin I will speak up.
