It's pretty much over here at FS# 4 in Greeley. Sunny and cold as a well diggers 4th point of contact, but the new snow polishes up and hides all the "black" snow. I hadn't seen black snow since the Army decided I'd be better off as a recruiter in Syracuse recruiting Battalion!!
Only real fallout from this storm was my son couldn't get married Friday. They closed all the county offices, courts etc preemptively, and then we "only" got 7". Her folks are from Yuma, (Colorado that is) and couldn't get over this a ways, so maybe my chief will be the officiating official before my kid heads back to finish off BCT at Ft Jackson.... providing her folks can dig out. Thanks for everyones thoughts in our "time of crisis"
for those prepared, it was no big deal....
kinda cleansing in a way..... let's ya know Ma Nature really is in charge, and our only real course of action is to be prepared and hope for the best
and always have some good beer and bourbon on hand!!
