I had the same suspicions as you've expressed about the set up of Path to 9/11. I don't know that it's the case, but as all the fuss was being made about the film before it was broadcast, I couldn't help but wonder if this was a slick way of ginning up more attention. Perhaps most of the reservations were sincere, but it seems likely that someone was trying to stir the pot. On the other hand, Rush seemed to like it before and after the cuts, which works against that theory.
On the other hand, it's been fun and/or infuriating to listen to the blatant lies coming from the Clinton administration folks. I'm sure some of the men on this forum know some of the people (or ARE some of the people) who had OBL in their sites and didn't have permission to fire. Oh well...
