I never jumped DZ Cairn and I don't recall the name so I don't know. Sorry. As I recall there were 3 or 4 regular DZs that we used, not counting Camp McCoy WI.
I do remember we jumped into Camp Lejeune, N.C. while I was there. Air Force missed the DZ of course and I had to climb down out of 50 foot pine tree. Had a great time with the Marine Recon folks while we were there.
