Spent first years on 541 on Smoke Bomb Hill right next to the HALO school office. Did same as everybody else for a few years. Became 18E/18F Was in the first class of 180As ever in June of 84. Returned to 5th as a W2 and worked at Mott Lake for 4 years teaching SOT, ODA 555. DLI Arabic, Desert Storm, Few good MTTs, projects etc. Ran 5th Group SCUBA locker for a few years before being dragged (claw marks are still in the pavement to prove it) to Group S3 where I ran the vault and all the projects that go along with it for a few years. Went to S5 to revamp and enhance the Group Language program and retired as the Group Senior Warrant 180A as a W4 in 2000.
Couldn't find a real job so I built a training complex with 5 ranges and 1700 Acres of hunting and training area below Ft Campbell called Rattlesnake Ridge Training Center. I now live the austire and broke life of a self employed instructor-contractor/janitor/tractor driver. I am a Class III manufacture and am building a collection of full auto and suppressors for sale and training. I am a part time Deputy on the Montgomery County Sheriff Department reserves learning the Law Enforcement side of life.
I am happy to be here and am very pleased to see the controll and descipline given to postings. I will try to follow the rules and welcome on the spot corrections when I don't. My posting may be infrequent as travel and training takes much of my time. I look forward to talking with you all.... Ed OUt.
