Good Post! I would like to add that currently, for prior service personnel, your time in service comes off your age. I was told this by the active duty SF recruiter. For example, if you are like me and have already passed your 29th birthday, the Army subtracts your time in service from your age (6 years for me) so as far as the Army is concerned, for purposes of taking part in this program, I am only 23.
