I hit Bragg in 82 and remember pregnant females with Green Berets.

I believe that was one of the reasons for the creation of the SF Tab. Remember when it first was authorized alot of guys had to choose between Ranger and SF Tabs because you were only allowed to wear one at a time.

When we formed the 112th Signal the guys with 18E MOS wanted to wear a Green Beret with the 112th flash and crest. However, they were told to wear the same headgear as the rest of the unit (maroon beret regardless if you were SF, Airborne or a leg).

I wonder how that has evolved over the years.
