I got in to physical activities to keep in shape and also played sports year around for school, until i got into the U.S. Army in June 2000 .I was raised by my father, while growing up he taught me finish what i start, don't quit on the goals I set, speak what you are able to back up and he also taught me that you can gauge a man by how much respect he will give others When i turned 17 yrs old my dad signed ,so that i could enter the military I been wanting to do that since i was 12. I served with the 1st brigade b-co 3rd batt 504th parachute infantry regiment at fort bragg ,nc ,which is now 508th PIR .In 2003 I deployed to afghanistan from January to August and in 2004 to Iraq from January to June.In afghanistan(2003) task force devil was main effort for conventional combat operations and 3rd batt was the main effort of the task force.we where moving all over from base to base, mission after mission, including a combat jump with the rangers which which was declassified a year later. Towards the last half of of the deployment we was sent to fire bases in shkin, gardez and orgune where we got more exposure to SF operators. In Iraq(2004)I went with my unit to Iraq we did dismounts , pulled perimeter security, main gate gaurd and training duty to the ICDC Iraqi platoons.bravo company and delta company was main QRF @ base anaconda /balad.In Iraq i also volunteered to extend my actice term hoping to be in the deployment window for stop lost to go to Afghanistan(it was pushed back). Over the course of my enlistment I had three children. My term in the military has exposed me to lots of life's multiple options including the want and desire to go SPECIAL FORCES,and I respect all that it stands for .Due to my ex-wife's problem with infedelity I was given the advise to separate and go national guard to take care of my divorce because they told me that anything can happen to where she could cause me to get droped from selection, due to emergencies. I'm currently with the 20th sfg training up to go through the training pipeline as an 18 echo and also trying to get back on active duty to do it full time .
