Hello, everyone! My name is Andy. I'm from Oregon and currently live in Japan. 6 years USMC and 5 years Oregon National Guard. I was also a parole officer in Oregon for five years. I probably won't make a lot of posts for a while, as I'd like to read and "get a feel" for this forum. I always had a lot of respect for Special Forces, SEALS, Marine Recon, and all the other elites.
I have a BA in Political Science and International Studies from the University of Oregon, and have lived and worked abroad extensively, mostly in Central America, The Middle East, and Japan & South Korea. I've been an English teacher in Japan since 2002.
I also am a member of "militaryphotos.net" and Wehrmacht awards.com" discussion groups.
Hobbies include firearms collecting and shooting, collecting militaria, and reading/discussing history and current events.
