Hi all,
I came across professionalsoldiers.com after checking the links page on armyranger.com. I've lurked on their forums for a while, but hardly posted there....it's pretty scary if you're trying not to catch any flak from them, I'm not gonna lie. They are very helpful though.
Anyway, I am a 2006 graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in Political Science. I have always wanted to be in the Armed Forces, but put it off when I had the chance after high school. Something happened after I graduated from WVU that rekindled my sense of duty and my desire to serve, so I went to talk to a recruiter about OCS. I wanted to talk about OCS because to a common civilian like me, that was what one does if one is a college graduate. A number of people talked me out of OCS to go the enlisted route--I figure ya can't lead a guy if ya don't know what it's like. I enlisted for MOS 96B, intelligence analyst, and also volunteered for Airborne School.
I may ask some advice in the future, but for now I am content checkin' the content already here. Thanks.
-Mark
