We should probably start a quote thread dedicated to those wonderful ladies who followed us all over creation or waited for us to return. I can think of a dozen easy! It would probably need to be in The Comedy Zone though!
My wife worked at the bank at the Berlin PX compound. A lady handed her a check to cash and my wife gave it back to her asking her to write her husbands rank. The lady passed it back and said she did. My wife looked at it and handed it back telling her again to put his "rank" on the check like Sgt or Cpt. The lady handed back the check and again said that it was on the check. My wife, frustrated by now, said "Where?!". The answer: "Right there! BG for Brigadier General!" Some of you may know Mrs. Shaknow.
