My NG 18X buddies were assigned their CMF 18 MOS before ever starting and were sent to the applicable AITs. If you're active duty then you'd be the first I've heard that got this deal.
Based on my own personal experience on Sand Hill, I don't think you're missing out on too much Infantry training Hermitman. We did battle drills maybe.. five times my entire time there. OSUT ... met the standard... but very inefficiently IMHO.

That would be the difference then... Yes, I am joining the Colorado Guard... I think that I signed on right as a lot of changes had or are in the process of taking place. I also think that 18x's get something called SFPC II which I gather goes over some of the things we would miss during an infantry AIT. I appreciate the insight bro.
